Life was ticking along just fine, so naturally, a few years ago, I threw in a plot twist and adopted Melbourne as home. And because I clearly love a challenge, I also started my own business in a brand-new country (hint: origins of my business name). Go big or go home, right? It’s been a wild ride – one I never want to get off.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked with global clients across industries, honing my skills and shaping a design style that is elegant, sophisticated, and built to communicate with clarity and impact. I’ve also learnt that design has this sneaky little superpower: it can change human behaviour through storytelling. And the best part? I love that I get to do it every single day.
In a nutshell, I design branding, websites, documents and decks for agencies, business owners, and corporates who hire me for a project, or keep me on retainer. My clients usually operate in finance, education, manufacturing, and tech. Wherever you are in the world, I’m always up for all kinds of creative collaborations.
Now I know I should be telling you the most wonderful things about me, but in truth, what I prefer to do is to make sure my clients are in a position to do all the praising for me. Because, to me, it is important that you feel supported, listened to, and trust that I truly understand what it is you’re trying to say and achieve with design.
If you scroll through my testimonials here or on LinkedIn, you’ll see the common things they say – “organised, keen eye for details, true partner, very collaborative, ruthless with timelines…”
This is all fantastic, but I feel everything sounds really formal when I’m actually quite the opposite. A wine-loving, scuba-diving, jigsaw puzzle addict – I’m a fan of the Oxford comma and I drink copious amounts of coffee (thank you, Melbourne). I swear (not so) occasionally and watch an unhealthy amount of stand up comedy.
Every proposal I send out is tailored to what you need. However, they always end with the same two sentences (it’s the reason a client signed on with me):
• A super systematic and structured person, I instil the same rigour in my design and process.
• I respect my clients and their time, and accept nothing less in return.
If you’re already thinking ‘sign me up, Ritika, I’m your next client’, email me you cute koala.
I’m an independent designer running a small business, so you work directly with me. I set expectations from the get-go and stay clear, communicative, and on top of things—because a successful project starts with trust. And trust? That comes from transparency. Here’s how I work so that projects run smoothly and dare I say – enjoyably.
I don’t sugar-coat. I rarely nod along and do whatever you say—even if it’s a terrible idea. I believe in doing what’s right for the project, not just what’s easy.
I’ll always be in your inbox and you’ll always know what’s happening. No ghosting. No guessing. No radio silence. Just open, straightforward communication the whole way.
Working efficiently is second nature to me – I keep projects moving, adapt to shifting timelines, and flex with your needs, all without wasting time (or your budget).
I’m always the last woman standing. Solid, reliable, and ready to stick around until the job’s done right. I’m all about the details and give you total commitment.
I work with you. It’s the only way to get the best results. I thrive on feedback and love solving complex problems together.
